Storytelling is an essential human activity. As a physical object, a book lives through the interaction of its elements – the text, the pictures, the pages, the binding, the sound, the rhythm of the turning of the pages, the display – and the individual who is reading it. I enjoy making by hand miniature books, each book is unique.
Below are earlier books I have created or worked on:

1880 Leather album refurbished with inner handmade journal

Item Number: MB220801
This is an 1880 leather album which I refurbished, strengthened the spine and rebuilt the clasp. I then made a handmade book of watercolor paper bound with a Coptic stitch, that then pressure fit inside the leather album. I learned a lot in working on this project.
